Spanish countryside

O.K. I will admit it. We have found the spanish countryside a bit boring and tiresome. The last few days especially, have been fields of hay, barley, corn and wheat. I have tried to see what is beautiful or interesting in this countryside buy I have to admit that the last two days have been difficult. The terrain is certainly not hard. It is a dirt path fairly wide, no hills, no mud, no streams to jump. The last two days coming out of León have basically been next to a busy highway, straight with little interest. You can tell by this picture that I am desperately looking for something to photograph!

However, tomorrow we start to climb and I am very much looking forward to going over this chain of mountains that will bring us to the Galicia region of Spain.
